READ THIS - IMPORTANT AND MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE COURSE:
~ You must have a Conservation ID number to take this class. One can be obtained FREE of charge and a link to the webform is automatically emailed to you upon registering. Please look at your registration receipt.
~ Students will receive a link to the online course via email at least 2 hours before class time (usually its sent out the night before class and then again a few hours before class) and must have access to a computer with a working camera for the entire course time.

~ The course should be taken on a computer or tablet (preferably computer) and NOT on a cell phone. It can be taken on a cell phone, but on occasion when text or emails are received on a cell phone you may loose access to the Zoom course and be locked out and then have to enroll for another course.
~ Testing can be accomplished on any smart device (phone, tablet or computer) but the course should be taken on a computer as mentioned above.
~ Test will be taken by all students at the same time, so although students can share a computer while taking the course for the purpose of the instructor seeing all students within the group on your camera, each student must take the test on a different device at the same time while on camera (supervised).
~ A link to take the exam will be given at the end of the course curriculum. If the test-takers are using a device other than the one used for the course, you will need to be able to share the link given with the students in group (via email, text, etc).
~ Students will have 60 minutes to complete the exam. It takes most students 20 minutes to complete the exam so don’t panic, you have ample time to complete it.

NOTE: YOU MUST ATTEND THE ENTIRE COURSE. Successfully completing this class qualifies you for your Connecticut "Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation with Waterski Endorsement" enabling the operator, based upon age, to operate Boats and JetSki's and engage in waterskiing activities.
This course is approved by the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, the National Association of Safe Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA), and is recognized by the United States Coast Guard.
Cost includes instructor-led online Zoom presented course. Online government approved testing is an additional fee of less than $7.

This course is approved by the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection and is taught by USCG Licensed Captains who are also Connecticut State Certified Instructors. Course materials approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA). Boaters safety
The Captain that taught this class was very detailed in the proper form, rules and laws of boating. He made taking the long class enjoyable and I walked away with a lot of extra knowledge and a comfortability to operate a boat. I was able to efficiently take and pass the exam and would highly recommend classes with him!
