Whether you want to become familiar with the South Shore of Long Island or want to increase your skills at Docking, Navigation or anything else along the way, this is the best way to do it.
From Merrick New York (Nassau County) we offer you one-on-one training aboard a 26ft Sea Ray Amberjack alongside a USCG Licensed and experienced Captain.
Included in this package is 3 hours on-board with just you (bring a guest too if you'd like) and a USCG Licensed Captain, including the boat and fuel! We also offer training aboard your vessel- just ask us if you are interested.
All you need to do is bring yourself to Lindenhurst New York where you will come aboard and depart on a vessel fully equipped with the neccessary safety equipment and the rest will be an experience not soon forgotten.
This is the way to get hands-on experience handling a vessel of almost any size. Practice docking, boat handling, navigation, chart plotting, using the GPS and a variety of other things with your own USCG Licensed Captain alongside giving you expert instruction and answering any questions you have.
NOTE: YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A RELEASE PRIOR TO GETTING UNDERWAY.
This release will include, among other things, that you understand the inherent risks of boating and being on the water, that you are physically able to participate in the activity, and you agree to hold harmless Safe Boating America, its employees, Captains, its affiliates and sub-contractors against any and all claims, demands, or causes of action, which are in any way connected with your participation in this activity or the use of equipment or facilities provided, including any such claims which allege negligent acts or omissions of the provider and Safe Boating New York. |
